Approve the estimate

The proposal is written from this number, so it cannot disagree with it

Suppliers notified, not chased

The wait, invertedRather than asking for a quote and waiting a week, the engine tells the supplier the price it has already carried and asks them to object. The bid never stops for them, and anything unanswered stays flagged as unconfirmed.

Every saved bid anchors the next enquiry. Record whether each one was won or lost, and from the third closed bid the engine starts telling you where your margin is costing you work.

What saving a bid actually does
  1. The next enquiry is scored against every saved bid. The three closest are put in front of the model with their real line items, unit costs, lead times and final price, and it is told to anchor to them rather than estimate from scratch.
  2. Once three bids carry an outcome, your win rate and your average margin on wins against losses are calculated and fed into the margin recommendation on the next bid.
  3. Any bid marked won becomes a project reference in the tender automatically, with client, scope and year.
  4. The win rate shown on the pricing screen comes from here.

Six things, about a minute.

I write your tenders out of your own material, so I need to know who you are before I can price anything. Drop things in, paste them, or skip a step and come back to it.

What you are using

Company profile

Everything the engine needs to price like your firm rather than a generic one.
Connections

Which services this deployment can actually reach, checked live against your site rather than assumed.

Company library

This is what turns a budget estimate into a scoreable tender. Forty of the hundred marks a buyer awards come from facts about your firm, not from the enquiry. Enter them once and they carry into every tender.
